This is my first shot at writing a novel. My regular blog is WhistleDance.net.
Title: Bibliomorph
Author: Graham R. Waldon
Summary: A magic notebook, a mysterious collection of books beneath a library, and
a young man who must accept a power he didn't know he had. I'll figure out the rest as I go along.
Word Count: 50,895 (11.29.2004)
Goal: 50,000 words (11.30.2004)
Seamus Gilbert: 23 years old, recent college graduate. Plodding through various temp jobs
while he figures out what to do with his life. Volunteers at the library, where he finds the book that starts everything.
Gabriela Mendoza: 8 years old. Comes to the library sometimes because her mother works there.
Friend of Seamus. Will probably need rescuing at some point.
Cassidy Martin: A junior in college, CS major. Finds a book like Seamus' and gets drawn into the same adventure.
Big Jake: More than what he appears to be, which is the homeless guy outside the library.
